Earlier this year I was lucky enough to visit the Dominican Republic, a country that I have to admit, was not a place that I knew much about or had really ever considered visiting. I was there for just a short while and only managed to sample just some of the country's immense beauty, so I would definitely like to return in the future. While there, I was able to do a bit of shooting, although not as much as I would have liked. Below are a couple videos I put together from some of what I shot. The first is from Samana Bay where we went whale watching and the second is from a visit to the Haitises National Park, in particular its mangroves and caves. It was my first time shooting from a boat as well as the first time shooting wildlife so the camera work is not my best, regardless I'm a happy with the result. I hope you enjoy.

I'd like to say a big thank you to the Hemery family, particularly Gilles and Linda for inviting us to stay with them and for taking us out on our many excursions.
